    Hi kik,

Great post. Do you only use lightroom for resizing? If you have your photos only 600 px wide and not larger than 300 px, how come the quality of your photos is so nice?
I’m not happy with the quality of my photos on my website and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I take photos with a Canon g7 x mark 2, gopro 7 black and Huawei P 20 Pro. I edit a bit in LR and resize in Photoshop. When I don’t like the quality, I keep the size too big.

Hey Diana! Photoshop can also be used to resize, but for the most part I resize in Lightroom as that’s where I’m editing my photos. I start off with high-resolution photos and when I reduce them to those dimensions, I haven’t had any issues with quality. They might be slightly grainier, but overall they’ve been good quality for me. I think the biggest factor comes from taking the best quality images you can (low ISO if possible and really focusing the shot) – shooting on manual mode has made the biggest difference in my photos: https://theblondeabroad.co.uk/beginners-guide-to-photographing-in-manual-mode/

    Hi Kiki,

Thank you very much for your answer. Yes, I always use automatic mode when shooting. It’s time then to start using the manual mode. 🙂

It can be kind of intimidating at first but take it step by step and it’s completely transformed my photos!
