Hi Kiki! Your blog has not only inspired me to travel,
but has also given me an idea as to what to look forward to/anticipate as a solo-traveler.
My biggest fear (aside from getting murdered or something stupid)
is going into the whole traveling thing alone and not being able to make any valuable friendships out of it.
I guess what I’m trying to ask is, did you overcome your shyness? If so, when did you start to notice its absence?

Thanks for your time, hope to hear from you!

Hey Jessie! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂 And I’ve definitely made some wonderful friends from traveling and even if I don’t talk to them every day, we share those memories together and it’s always fun to catch up. I’m rather open and friendly normally but I totally understand about shyness – especially in a foreign place. Because I was mostly staying at hostels when I first started traveling, it helped to remind myself that many others were in the same boat and usually looking to meet friends, too! I hope that helps a bit 🙂

Wow! I’ve always wanted to go to Namibia. Thanks for rounding up all the best places. I’ll definitely be adding it to my bucket list. Also, Portugal should be on this list.

Hey Rica! Namibia is such a wonderful place. And I’ll have to create another list with Portugal on it 🙂

For every trip, travel guide and pretty photo you see, there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes.

I’m constantly writing, researching, planning what’s next, running multiple businesses… and currently using AI to help build an entirely new website.

My AMD Ryzen AI-powered laptop has become the command center for all of it. I can have approximately 47 things happening at once (a conservative estimate), and it keeps up with the chaos.

Because ultimately, the goal is to spend a little less time behind the screen and a lot more time out experiencing the world. ✈️

Turns out you can fit a lot of life into one year. 🤍

Moving abroad with a four-year-old while running multiple businesses from the road has been equal parts incredible, chaotic, exhausting and unforgettable.

For the past six months, my AMD Ryzen AI-powered laptop has come along for all of it… from Cape Town to Europe and everywhere in between.

It’s lightweight enough to travel with me, powerful enough to keep up with my million open tabs, and the battery life has genuinely exceeded my expectations.

There are definitely easier ways to live 😂 But I wouldn’t trade this adventure for anything.

Here’s to building a life that makes sense to you!

No trending audio could ever compete with this.

Just me and my little guy wandering around Lake Trübsee, surrounded by the happiest cows making their little mountain music.

Sound on for this one! 🤍
