  1. Great post! Having been to the Blue Lagoon, I second everything you said. Yes, you hair will feel different but it’s not really anything to worry about. And they have special shampoo in the showers for you (though it doesn’t get your hair back to normal after one use!). Flying from the United States, we have 10 hours layovers in Iceland and we hop a bus on over to the Blue Lagoon in between. It’s a great revitalizer when you’ve been awake for so long.

Side note: I think they warmer areas you spoke of are the pumps where the water is brought up. There seems to be 4 or 5 areas. I found a spot towards the back where the bottom rises a bit and I just sit and can see the whole area. It’s a great place to chill!

    • Yes the layover trick is AWESOME! Thanks for all the tips!

  2. Wow! I definitely want go to Iceland next year. This looks amazing! 🙂
    You’ve piqued my wanderlust 😉

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
