    I’ve got a 70L Kathmandu backpack that I’ve had with me on the road since February and now I’m about to start off on a new leg of my journey and I feel it’s just too heavy for me. Do you have that problem or am I just overpacking it? I’ve actually been looking at 60L thinking of making the switch!! I just can’t see myself lugging around my 70L monster in the heat of Southeast Asia haha!

    • It sounds like you are overpacking it! My Cairns is 67L but it’s specifically built for women and is super lightweight, so it’s perfect for me. I actually packed for four months in Europe and I have a picture of it on the scale at the airport and it was 13.25 kg (30 lbs). That’s about as heavy as I can handle for any length of time. I’m starting my clothes packing guides for different types of trips so stay tuned 🙂

        Oh, I hope you do a packing guide for The Yacht Week BVI! I will be there in March!

  2. You make everything looks so neat and organized! Question about your photography and computer equipment – does everything fit in the Case Logic backpack? (cords, etc.) I’m interest in maybe switching my smaller pack.

    I also carry a separate backpack for my electronics since I want to be more careful with them. However, this little bag so much heavier than my large backpack full of my clothes, etc. and I’ve been trying to figure out a way to lighten my load.

🦜 Nature & Wildlife Adventures

Costa Rica never disappoints when it comes to nature, but this trip was next-level. We took a private boat tour with @nolimitadventurescr and the kids are still talking about it. We spotted turtles gliding through the water, discovered remote beaches, and even squeezed in some tubing—pure magic for the little ones and the grown-ups alike.

We’re already counting the days until we come back. ✨ If you’re looking for a luxury family-friendly getaway in Costa Rica, this is your spot!

A huge thank you to @waldorfastoriacostarica for hosting us on this sunshine-soaked getaway!

I found foodie paradise… and it’s in New England 🦞🍩🍺

More specifically, Portland, Maine!

Last fall I took a roundtrip around New England for some leaf peeping, fall frolicking, and most importantly, for all of the eats. And while there are a LOT of incredible places to eat around New England, it’s Portland that has some of the absolute best foods.

From sweet potato donuts to fries made in duck fat to some of the best oysters I’ve ever had, this place is literally heaven.

Some of our fav spots:

@allagashbrewing
@js_oyster

If you want even MORE of the best local food spots around all of New England, I’ve compiled an extensive guide.

Let me know if you want the MAP and I’ll be sure to send it your way!
