  1. Hi, Excellent article! I only have one doubt .. they gave me an information that every February of each year the entrance to the Inca trail is suspended for maintenance reasons .. that is true ???
Check with an agency https://www.apumayo.com/en/ and they replied that it was not possible.
Please if you have any answer on this information … because we plan to make the route to the Inca Trail for that time of year.

    Thanks for the reply.

Hey there! It’s been a few years since I’ve hiked the Inca Trail, so things definitely change. But it does look like it closes down for February to take care of maintenance and make things safe for future hikers. This article provides some pretty good info: https://www.tourinperu.com/february-closing-of-inca-trail

Machu Picchu is a must see when you visit Peru. It’s 1 hour or so by plane outside Lima in the town of Cusco. Prepare yoursef prior to arriving Cuzco due to it’s 10,950 or so feet above see level altitude that would give some people a so called “mountain sickness” short of breath, headache, nausea etc..me & my friends got sick and did not enjoy the first day of our tour. Machu Picchu’s altitude was less than Cuzco so we have had a great time exploring this amazing, wonderful rich of history Incan site. It’s worth the visit and would do it all over again inspite of the altitude sickness.

World-class service, beachfront access, curated excursions, a stunning collection of pools, and elevated touches everywhere you turn. Newly opened, but already operating like a seasoned 5-star icon.

🦜 Nature & Wildlife Adventures

Costa Rica never disappoints when it comes to nature, but this trip was next-level. We took a private boat tour with @nolimitadventurescr and the kids are still talking about it. We spotted turtles gliding through the water, discovered remote beaches, and even squeezed in some tubing—pure magic for the little ones and the grown-ups alike.

We’re already counting the days until we come back. ✨ If you’re looking for a luxury family-friendly getaway in Costa Rica, this is your spot!

A huge thank you to @waldorfastoriacostarica for hosting us on this sunshine-soaked getaway!

I found foodie paradise… and it’s in New England 🦞🍩🍺

More specifically, Portland, Maine!

Last fall I took a roundtrip around New England for some leaf peeping, fall frolicking, and most importantly, for all of the eats. And while there are a LOT of incredible places to eat around New England, it’s Portland that has some of the absolute best foods.

From sweet potato donuts to fries made in duck fat to some of the best oysters I’ve ever had, this place is literally heaven.

Some of our fav spots:

If you want even MORE of the best local food spots around all of New England, I’ve compiled an extensive guide.

Let me know if you want the MAP and I’ll be sure to send it your way!
