  1. Chase Shadid

Did a google search about getting on a boat for the yacht week, found your website and have been in to rabbit hole ever since.
Anyway I am much like yourself, just 25 year old guy version from Oklahoma. I want to go to yacht week next year, unfortunately most of my friends are already settled down or not as adventurous/don’t have disposable income to go on this trip to where I can rent a boat with all of them and go. Is there a way to join In on someone’s boat and pay for yourself?? Thanks in advance – chase shadid.

    • Hey Chase! I’ve got a new article coming out all about going on The Yacht Week. You can actually look on their website and look at “book Cabins” which is for individuals to book a space on a boat rather than booking the entire boat themselves. You can also use their crew finder on their facebook page to find crews looking for additional people to join.

  2. Great list!! A lot of these are on mine too.

p.s. do you mean Hwy 1 for the CA coast drive? (PCH?)

    • Yes! So you actually take the 101 to the 1 to the 101 haha. But, I changed it to the PCH 1 because that’s the iconic “coastal” drive and the historic route is the 101.

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
