Awesome list Kiersten! I’ve been searching for something like this. I would add two trips:

    1) The Palio in Siena, Italy. For reasons unknown to me this event rarely receives any media coverage, but is a must see. While not nearly as crazy as The Yacht Week (great post by the way) or San Fermin (I was lucky enough to run the day after Spain won the world cup) a riderless horse can win The Palio. It’s pure pandemonium.

    2) Sparty in Budapest, Hungary. It’s an after dark pool party in a natural thermal bath. Unlike it’s Vegas cousin, it doesn’t come with any VIP pomp (or rules for that matter) that can rub some the wrong way.

  2. Absolutely LOVE this list! So many I will now add to my bucket list. A few to add for me would be:

    1. Inter-rail Italy through Rome/Venice etc, onto Croatia – for OUTLOOK FESTIVAL – One of my fave festivals!!
    2. Take a yoga class & visit the markets in Ubud, Bali.
    3. Visit Singapore – view from the top of the Singapore Flyer is ridiculously amazing!
    4. Watch the sunset on Kuta Beach, Bali.
    5. Take a road trip down the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

    Hope you enjoy my list!

    Peace & Love! xo

Spending a year abroad sounds exciting… until you see the planning involved.

Flights, edits, contracts, itineraries — not to mention the admin of being a mom. I’m usually running everything at once, so having a laptop that can keep up makes a huge difference.

I’ve been using an AMD Ryzen AI–powered laptop to keep everything organized, run AI tools even when WiFi isn’t available, and work from wherever we happen to be in the world.

So I can finish what I need to do… and get back to what’s most important ❤️
